Dr. Jordan Dimitrov holds BSEE, MSEE, and PhD
degrees from the Technical University in Sofia, Bulgaria. He has 30 years of experience in research, design,
and calibration; holds two patents and has published more than 60 papers.
Currently, Dr. Jordan Dimitrov teaches at two community
colleges in Toronto, ON, Canada.

Test instruments such as oscilloscopes and DMMs
(digital multimeters) often let you get the measurement results you need with
just the press of a button. But the number on a meter's display or the waveform
on an oscilloscope's screen is not a perfect measurement. The value displayed
